Screen Reader Reliability Testing
This page contains links to various small web pages that are designed to be used for screen reader reliability testing of various HTML, CSS, and ARIA features. The tests were inspired by, and in many cases are very similar to, the tests used by the Screen reader reliability · PowerMapper Software page.
I created this web page for two reasons.
- While the Screen reader reliability · PowerMapper Software page provides the source code for each test page, it does not provide the actual test pages. This makes it impossible for others to duplicate their results. Being able to duplicate their results is vital if you are a screen reader developer.
- In some cases, the issues identified by the Screen reader reliability · PowerMapper Software page can be resolved by a small change to the test page. In these cases, I provide several versions of the test.
